Departmental Annual Report 2007 This Annual Report provides an overview of the Department’s activities for the 2006 / 07 financial year. It provides information on the strategic focus of the agency, issues and trends that will impact on its activities and future directions for the Department. This report highlights the numerous achievements in the areas of good governance for local government and effective leadership for regional communities Departmental Annual Report 2004 The 2003 / 04 financial year Annual Report provides an overview of the Department’s activities. This report highlights the numerous achievements in the areas of good governance for local government and effective leadership for regional communities. Annual Reports - Local Government Grants Commission LGGC Annual Report 2006 The 2005 / 06 Annual Report of the Western Australian Local Government Grants Commission includes the General Purpose and Local Roads grants allocations for the year in review. Annual Reports - Local Government Advisory Board LGAB Annual Report 2006/2007 The Local Government Advisory Board’s annual report focuses on the activities of the Board during the 2006/2007 financial year. Structural reform of local government continues to gather momentum with the Board recommending the amalgamation of the Shire and Town of Northam and the City of Geraldton with the Shire of Greenough. The Board is confident that the efforts of these local governments in addressing structural reform will encourage other local governments to pursue structural reform initiatives. LGAB Annual Report 2006 The 2005 / 06 Local Government Advisory Board report focuses on review of ward boundaries and representation throughout the year, in preparation for the 2007 local government elections. In all, the Board assessed eighteen reports of reviews of ward boundaries and representation.. LGAB Annual Report 2005 The 2005 Local Government Advisory Board report focuses on ward boundaries. Representation remained a major focus for the Board throughout the last year, in preparation for the May 2005 local government elections. In all, thirty-two reports of reviews of ward boundaries and representations were assessed during this reporting period. |
